Broken Steel... FIXED!

I should have expected it really... but at least it's finally here, and not a moment too soon.

Barely a hour after purchasing and downloading Broken Steel and The Pitt, I completed the main story-line of Fallout 3. I'm already level 22 and just about to head into The Pitt... it's all fun :-D

If only I hadn't got distracted by some other, rather addictive, games: King's Bounty, Braid and Plants Vs Zombies!

King's Bounty is very like the Might and Magic games. Turn-based combat using various troops based around the standard fantasy units (knights, dwarfs, necromancers etc..). It's a great little game.

Braid is an impressive little platform puzzler that uses the ability to manipulate time to create quite impressive puzzles. With it's 'painted' look and clever animation, it's certainly fun to play.

The winner, for me at least, has to be Plants Vs Zombies. In it's simplest form, it's a desktop tower defence game, but it's the quality of the game and the sheer number of variations of defence and attacking zombies that keep you playing. Each round gives you a new seed to plant or a message from the Zombies. Somebody definitely had some fun while thinking these up.

Head over to PopCap ( http://www.popcap.com/ ) and give it a go. Tell Crazy Dave I said "Hi!"

Broken Steel broken!

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!

Fallout 3 - Broken Steel is here... I can start playing it again.

Oh... wait... no it's not... it's broken so they've taken it off the Live marketplace.

*sigh*

Some days you are the dog; some days you are the tree

So, it's a nice weekend, what else is there to do but... get ourselves a puppy!

Yup, fraid so, we are now the proud owners of a lovely border collie called Dresden (after a character in one of my favourite series of books, not the German town).

He's certainly going to keep us busy ;-)
