Other than a couple of good titles, the last couple of months have been a bit quiet on the game front... everyone holding their best till the start of the Christmas run.
So here it is... already a number of big titles like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and World in Conflict have struck the shelves and started the spending spree.
Trouble is, even if I could afford to buy all the new titles that I'd like to, where the hell am I going to find the time to play them?!?
In the next eight weeks we'll be seeing:
- Half-life 2: Orange Box (HL2, EP1, EP2, TF2 and Portal)
- Clive Barker's Jericho
- Gears of War
- The Witcher
- PES 2008 (though that's not normally my sort of game)
- Hellgate: London
- Unreal Tournament III
- Crysis
- Kane and Lynch: Dead Men
- NFS Pro Street
And that's not even all of them, just a quick selection of the title that caught my eye while reading through the release lists. It's crazy! I'm not complaining... it's good to see so many (potentially) good games coming out... but where do I start?!?
To be honest, this is a decision I've already made... HL2: Orange Box, Hellgate: London and Crysis will be the first three to hit my machine. That, along with the usual EQ2 time, should last me into mid-December (hopefully) so the rest will become wish list fodder for friends and relatives to turn to for Christmas.
It's a good time to be a PC gamer...
