Something shiny this way comes...

I'm afraid I've been a little lax with my Blogging duties of late. Quite simply it's because I've been spending all my time either working or gaming. Lots of EQ2, thanks to the suprise release of two new zones (one being a new starter city) and a new race as part of the normal monthly update... that's right, no cash changed hands, SOE simply gave the evil players a fae-like race, the Arasai, for free to balance out the addition of the candyfloss-loving goodie Fae with the Echoes of Faydwer expansion pack. Gotta love the free stuff :)

On top of that, I've been getting a steady stream of EA games coming my way thanks to the joy that is 'an inside man' (all through legitimate, EA sanctioned, channels I assure you). Now my only struggle is to find enough time to play all the PC, PS2 and Wii games I've been buying :S

I do, however, have some even better news for this month... at this very moment in time I am expecting the delivery of my brand new PC! With K's PC finally giving up the ghost I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a new PC. No Shuttle system this time (too much of a pain to upgrade if I'm honest), instead I've gone for a Core2Duo E6600, 2Gb RAM and a GeForce 8800 GTS all housed in a rather cool NZXT case. Thankfully it's got huge potential for upgrading at a later date as well so I shouldn't have to think about getting a completely new system for many years to come (famous last words). Hopefully my next post with not be one about Vista and DX10 woes...

Anyway... I've got a dining room to finish stripping wallpaper from before I get to play with my new beast... have fun!
