Shocking I know...
So what's my point? Nothing really... I just wanted to spare a moment, and some web space to pay homage to my sadly defunct Yamaha FZ750. After a year of promises of re-building after it's untimely demise at the hand of an incompetent Volvo driver I have finally come to accept that this rather fantastic bike is unlikely to ever run again...

Rather than post an actual picture of my bike (and the sorry state that it is in), I thought it best to post one of how it should look!
With it's Micron exhaust and a FZR1000 rear swing arm/wheel it not only sounded better than any bike I've owned but it cornered like it was on rails. Quicker off the mark and far more manoeuvrable than my old GPZ900R... it will be sadly missed!
And during this sad moment, I would ask that you spare a moment, not for my bike, but instead the next time you plan on pulling out from a road, overtake or take a turn. Take a moment to check that it is clear and indicate... it makes life significantly easier for everyone if we all know what the other road users are doing! I was lucky and only suffered a few scrapes and bruises but too many bikers (and car drivers for that matter) are not...
